Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, a comprehensive public university, offers 45 majors and more than 30 minors. The university is conveniently located halfway between Allentown and Reading, Pennsylvania. Approximately 10,000 students are enrolled with almost half living on campus. Housing is available for transfer students. 81% of students receive financial aid. Kutztown University is a member of the NCAA Division II and offers close to 150 organizations for social, academic, honors and recreational activities.

Transfer Application Requirements
Minimum GPA:
Students must have a grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.00
Official Transcripts:
An official transcript is required from each institution you attended even if you do not wish to have the credit considered for transfer. Transcripts must be sent from the Registrar's Office at your previous institution to the Kutztown Admissions Office.
SAT Scores:
If you satisfactorily completed a minimum of 12 credits at an institution of higher learning, SAT or ACT scores are not required.
Letters of Recommendation:
Recommendations are not required.
Essay:
Essays are not required.

Interview:
Interviews are not required.
Other Requirements:
Submit either an official copy of the high school transcript or a copy of the GED. See the KU transfer website for additional requirements for any education major.

Transfer Credit Policy
Minimum Grade:
In most circumstances a minimum grade of "C-" is required for transfer consideration. Students with an Academic Passport may be able to transfer courses with grades of "D." See http://www.kutztown.edu/admissions/regulations.shtml for details.
Credits (Min/Max):
Students must have 12 or more college level credits to be considered transfer students. Developmental or remedial courses do not count toward that 12.
